For with You (God) is the fountain of life; in Your ight we see light. Psalms‬ ‭36.9‬.

Prayer: Jesus Christ, Your tenderness has perfectly revealed the heart of heavenly Father for the lost world. I fully experience Your tender goodness. I find shelter, safety, forgiveness and joy in You.

Father God, what You say is true. I recognize and I rest in Your great and precious promises.

I thank You for protecting and taking care of me. You provide what I need for my cares, fears, and burdens. Strengthen me to follow You in actions and in words every day. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. 🙏.

Thoughts and Encouragement: Fasting is found throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible over 50 times. In the Old Testament it was often a way of expressing grief or a means of humbling one's self before the Lord. In Psalm 35:13, David humbled himself with fasting. In the New Testament it was a mean to grow closer to God through meditating and focusing on Him. In Luke 2.37 a widow worshiped day and night fasting and praying.

  So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love. Ephesians‬ ‭3.17‬. Prayer : I give thanks to You Lord Jesus, for Your unfailing love and Your wonderful deeds for mankind. You are my anchor and my close friend. You’ve blessed me. Teach me each day to give You thanks. Father God, Your Spirit renewing and transforming me and continue to give me the strength and courage to rest in You. I appreciate Your promise to be our Guide. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6. 17-18‬. Prayer : Jesus, You came to rescue us. You gave Your body and Your blood to be for us the food and drink of new and unending life in You.  Dear Father, You love me when I don’t deserve it. It isn’t easy to forgive and love someone who hurts You. But You give us a second chance. Help me to put my hope in Your fully and not to be troubled by the struggles in this life and to forgive and love others, as You forgive and love for me. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. 🙏.
